I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect-for-me skort. This one almost hits all the marks!
Pros
-6 inch inseam shorts (chub rub is real)
-the inner thigh of the shorts seems to be reinforced by doubling up the fabric(thick thighs rejoice!!!) & this means the stitching isn’t just one line down the middle of the inner thigh (where my thighs have eaten through other skorts stitching)
-the waist band is comfy and didn’t roll up/down under a backpack
-cute colors!! (Even though I wasn’t able to order the color I initially wanted, I still like the one I ended up with)
-the skirt part seems to repel water really well
The negative
I took it out for a 6 mile hike today to test it. Unfortunately the shorts do ride up a bit for me. Not a lot, but enough for me to chafe at the bottom of the shorts where they’ve ridden up about an inch. I think if these were 7” inseam they’d be perfect 🥺
All that to say this skort will be a regular part of my rotation. I am curious how it will hold up on a long backpacking trip (my previous backpacking skort from a different company had me using my emergency sewing kit after only 50 trail miles on the PCT 🥲)
I ordered a size medium and am quite happy with the fit. I’m 5’7” 170lbs. Waist is 31.5” and hips are 42.5”. Thighs are 26” in diameter and the shorts fit comfortably.
